August Meeting Information

Program: Dinner/Bingo
Dinner at 6:30pm at Willamette Mission State Park
Wheatland Road 8 miles North of Salem
Bring a main dish and side dish
Bring your own plate & utensils
The club will be providing chicken and drinks
Tom will be providing ice cream.
Bingo Prizes: 1 gold / 6 club medals / 3 silver dollars



A special contest was announced during the February 2010 meeting.
The member who brings the most guests/new members by March 2011 will win
a nice prize (TBD).


Note: We will be sending another box of items to our troops
in the Middle East. Please bring items to the Sept meeting if
you would like to send something.

    Salem Club Tokens

    The year 2006 was the club's 50th anniversary.
    We have made a 50th Anniversary token for this event.

    The design for the token is:
    Obverse: Pioneer/1956-2006 - Pioneering Numismatics in Oregon
    Reverse: 3 Cherries - Cherry City - Salem Numismatics Society

    The tokens are available for purchase for $25.

    Club Information

    Salem meets on the first Tuesday of the month at:

    Cordon Fire Hall
    300 Cordon Rd. NE

    Note: For August, we are meeting at Willamette Mission State Park
    Wheatland Road, 8 miles North of Salem

    The next club meeting is Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010.

    The doors open at 6:30pm. The meeting starts at 7pm, and the auction is at 8pm.


    The next board meeting is Tuesday, Aug 10th, 2010 at the Fischer's home (Keizer - ask for directions) from 6:30-8:30pm.


    If you are interested in joining the club, please come to one of the
    meetings and ask for an application.
